A trailer for AKA’s posthumous album, Mass County, has been released.
Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes, 35, and his longtime friend and former manager Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, 41, were shot and killed outside Wish restaurant in Florida, Durban on 10 February.

The trailer shared on the late rapper’s official Twitter account showcases a glimpse of what fans can expect from his album set to be released this Friday, 24 February.
Mass country is his fourth studio album that the rapper has been working on since his last album release in 2020.
The Forbes family made an announcement during a press briefing post his death that they would go on with plans to release the album despite AKA’s untimely passing.
Last week Friday AKA’s first single, Company was subsequently released, on the day his public memorial was held to honour the rapper’s life.
The 2-minute clip, shared last night , includes past interviews with AKA in which he speaks about the South African music industry.
